Hogs Heaven Pork Rind Crusted Cheese Ball

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • ½ cup hot pepper jam 

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, finely shredded and divided

  • 1 cup real bacon bits

  • ½ cup green onions, chopped

  •  2 cups Hogs Heaven Pork Rinds

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, use a hand mixer or large spoon to combine cream cheese, hot pepper jam, shredded cheese, bacon bits, and green onions. Using your hands, shape the mixture into a ball.

  2. Add Hogs Heaven pork rinds to a zipper storage bag. Gently massage the bag to break the pork rinds into small crumbs. Pour the crumbs out onto a large plate and roll the cheese ball around until fully coated in pork rinds.

  3. Cover and refrigerate until serving. Serve the cheese ball with Hogs Heaven pork rinds and crackers of choice.
